I think you should ask yourself why trolls come here.

Those people have the saddest lives of all.

Because misery loves company. And I guess there is a kind of hopefulness knowing I am not alone.

I wondered that, too. But there’s nothing better to do on the Internet, except Facebook and Youtube. And Wikipedia, sometimes.

I come here to read the smart comments left by EOS and others, to see how the left is “thinking” (oxymoron) and to get a laugh at Peter’s stuttering attempts at logic.

I guess I don’t understand the Troll concept. People on this site have told me to stop watching Fox and listening to Limbaugh exclusively, but then don’t want to read a conservative viewpoint on this blog. Which is it?

I’m not depressed. I have hope that those who read and write can be persuaded by logical argument. And I hope that those who hold differing opinions can educate me in a logical fashion as well. It’s not always the case, but I have learned a lot from this site.

I come here because I’m too much of a pansy to join Fight Club.

I never realized this site was depressing. I thought it just reflected your personality.

I come because there’s tons of useful information here about local and issues that is more difficult to find elsewhere. Because I enjoy reading different points of view on important topics. Because it’s heartening to see that other people feel the same way that I do in the face of impending doom . . . .

I came here originally for the tips on ball shaving. I stayed for the self-pity.

I check every day, in hopes that the revolution has started.

The revolution will not be televised … but it likely WILL be posted, commented upon, discussed, argued and even trolled here on MM … at least until the electricity runs out … and even then, I’m counting on to find a way to make it peddle-powered.

A very fitting image given the state of the world today. It looks like God is shitting on us so forcefully that his colon is coming out.

Mis-understandings of the American, free society way of life and the Constitution? I don’t think so! Where is the left wing Democratic Party on this? Are they afraid to “confront” this Muslim problem?

I was at Black Panther Party weapons training class when Saul Alinsky ordered me to start coming to this site. Bill Ayers broke my kneecap when I asked why.

First of all, it is only depressing if you take it seriously.
Secondly, have you ever thought of all this MMA hype as fake professional wrestling? I mean, come on, the sport is so boring, they had to turn it into a reality show to get people to watch it. The personalities on those reality MMA shows are not nearly as interesting as Ivan Putski and The Iron Shiek and all that, but they are every bit as fake.
And the matches, what a joke. The exciting ones last thirty seconds. The rest are crap. I can’t decide whether they are fake boxing matches or fake amateur wrestling matches. It’s like watching tennis played without a net. I love how they think it is more real that way.

Now, you have my permission to be depressed.

I remember on September 12th 2000, I was walking through the Kroger parking lot. Two young black men came driving through the parking lot with their radio blasting some really loud militaristic sounding rap. They were shaking their fists in the air and screaming “Fuck America, Fuck America.”
Haha. The world is a fascinating place, isn’t it.
