When Ann Coulter said a few weeks ago at CPAC, amid a great deal of applause, that “there should be more jailed journalists,” I have little doubt that Naomi Klein, the author of The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, was one of those individuals she had in mind. Today, Klein posted the following on Twitter. I hesitate to print it, as it’s so blatantly obvious, but I can’t help myself.

Smart and Hot! What else could you want in a woman? One of the best books I’ve read in the last decade. Everyone should read this to gain a bit of perspective on how power really works in this world.
I don’t think I could go as far as “counterweight.” I think it’s more like moving to take the slingshots out of our hands.
