I like making posters that make no sense, promoting bands that don’t exist. I just made this one, and now I really want to start a band called Young Lovers Must Die. As for Saturday’s show, which is mainly going to be about doing business in Ypsi, I’m still working on the script. I should actually be working on it right now, but I needed a break, and thought that I’d post a reminder here, so you wouldn’t forget to show up again. The show, for those of you who plan to attend, will be at Ypsilanti’s Dreamland Theater this Saturday, February 12. Doors open at 7:30. The show starts at 8:00. Admission, assuming someone is at the door to collect it, will be $7. Our guests, among others, will include Bee Mayhew (Beezy’s), James Marks (VG Kids), Hasan Mihyar (Woodruff’s) and Jennifer Albaum (Henrietta Fahrenheit). And, I’ve been told to expect a shirtless man selling falafel.

You should record over the phone with Michael Berkowitz. I think he’d like the band name.
I like that his gut hangs over his belt. And by “his” I mean Mark’s.
Back in the day, my friends and I used to “prank” radio stations by calling and requesting songs that didn’t exist. The only one I remember was “Hands on the Wall” by New Edition. Therefore, I think it’d be great if Young Lovers Must Die’s first single was in fact called “Hands on the Wall”.
I’d know that monster anywhere.
