In the wake of yesterday’s horrific attack against Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, the internet has exploded with activity. Everyone with an opinion is weighing in, and, as you might imagine, a lot of people who may have contributed to the heated environment in which the shooting took place, are busy covering their tracks in an attempt to rewrite history. Almost immediately after the Congresswoman was shot, for instance, Sarah Palin pulled down the page where she showed Giffords’ name next to the crosshairs of a gun. And, Palin’s media aide, Rebecca Mansour, started putting out the laughably ridiculous story that the gun sights used on their web page weren’t gun sights at all, but surveyor’s symbols. The following transcript of Mansour talking with radio host Tammy Bruce comes via the Atlantic:
MANSOUR: I just want to clarify again, and maybe it wasn’t done on the record enough by us when this came out, the graphic, is just, it’s basically — we never, ever, ever intended it to be gunsights. It was simply crosshairs like you see on maps.
BRUCE: Well, it’s a surveyor’s symbol. It’s a surveyor’s symbol.
MANSOUR: It’s a surveyor’s symbol. I just want to say this, Tammy, if I can. This graphic was done, not even done in house — we had a political graphics professional who did this for us.
Which, I might almost believe it, if not for the fact that Palin herself had referred to them as bullseyes in the past. Here, for those of you who need evidence, is a Tweet from November.
As Palin mentions in the Tweet, 18 of the 20 people she identified as stalwart supporters of our anti-American President who, by the way, “pals around with terrorists,” had been eliminated from office… Gabrielle Giffords, you might be interested to know, was one of the only two remaining.
One last Tweet… This one comes from comedian Frank Conniff and it’s directed back at Palin.
“Hey, Sarah Palin, how’s that hatey, killy, reloady, crosshairsy thing working out for ya?”
She’s yet to respond.

I think Palin is finished as a viable candidate in 2012. Other Republicans will do her in now. She might as well just stick with her phoney TV show.

Is it unfair for Palin to take this political hit? Probably. She wasn’t alone in creating this environment. Still, the country is going to demand that someone be held accountable. She can erase all she wants, but people aren’t going to forget the role she played in all of this. Six Americans are dead.
It was announced last week that Palin’s show was NOT being renewed anyway.
Palin’s people are also working overtime to keep the negative comments of of her various websites.

Next thing you know she’s going to try to explain that a taint isn’t something that’s situated between 2 balls & an asshole. In the words of Adam & Jamie from Mythbusters, “I reject [her] reality & substitute my own.”
I just hope that god-damn woman, with that screech of a voice, just fades away. I’m not holding my breath, though.

I can’t help but picture Palin as Lady Macbeth.
And, Urine Hands, for what it’s worth, I think a lot of what’s plaguing our city can be tracked back to our last Republican Mayor, Cheryl Farmer, whose idea it was to play real estate developer and buy up the parcels now known as Water Street.
WOW! I’ve been reading your site and watching your videos and I found some one that I went to college with. Only I thought he had died over 9 years ago. According to dreamland tonight you know him as bash boulder AKA jeff davis. back in the mid 90’s I took an acting class at WCC with him. He was an under ground fighter,backyard wrestler, money collector for a bookie and multi business owner. back then he was worth a couple of million dollars at least. he was known as jeff bernard back then. He was the MOST MEANEST, dirtiest, DOWN RIGHT EVIL person that I had ever met in my life. The last I had heard of him was that he had had a blood clot to the brain and had lost everything. I assumed he had died. This guy was the most selfesh, under handed, womanizing, backstabber that I have ever met. With an ego that could fill the grand canyon. And here I’ve thought he was dead since that was what a few people had told me. I once barrowed $1000 from him and wasn’t able to pay him back on time so he put muratic acid in my washing machine and broke my wife’s cat’s right front leg while my 5 year old daughter watched. Had to sell my car to pay him back. My family lost our apt. because of this monster, it took us 3 years to get back on our feet. It says that he ran for mayor of Ypsilanti, I pray that he didn’t win. As we speak my wife and I are packing our belongings and getting out of Ypsilanti before we run into “THE BASHER” We only lived here for 3 1/2 weeks. Sorry we will never get the chance to know Ypsilanti, it seems to have a few problems but most of the people seem to be really friendly. THE BASHER must stick out like an infested sore thumb. I’m sure THE BASHER would sell his own grandmother to the devil if she pissed him off. GOODBYE YPSILANTI, ITS NOT SAFE HERE. THE BASHER IS STILL ALIVE. I guess the devil kicked him out of hell or he’d be running the place by now.
