Miley, bongs, and Frosted Flakes

mileycyrusfrosted2I just saw the Miley Cyrus bong video that everyone’s been talking about, and I’ve got a question. Did anyone else think the Frosted Flakes box seemed a little too perfect? Maybe it’s just me, but I was struck by the lighting, the angle, and the position of the box in the frame. I’m not saying definitively that this whole thing is manufactured to sell cereal, but you have to wonder.

And let’s remember, the last time I had a hunch like this, I turned out to be right.

Speaking of product placement, did you happen to catch this Chex Mix spot on Days of Our Lives?

Are people who watch soap operas really so dumb that they wouldn’t notice something like that, or are they just so addicted to their programs that the producers can do whatever they want, secure in the knowledge that they won’t leave?

    Days of Our Lives, huh?
I think the ad placement for Chex Mix is completely upstaged by the one for natural, chubby, ever so slightly saggy cleavage and fake blond hair.
    And I’ll buy that.

I haven’t heard anything about Frosted Flakes sales, but according to the news the sales of Salvia are way up as a result of this video.

That was my second thought. My first was “Why is anyone listening to Bush in 2010.”

It is just Miley Ray Cyrus’s saliva that gets you high, or will anyone’s work?

Good for Kelloggs. I love watching the free market work. It gives me a boner.

Well, bless her wakey bakey heart. I guess we do have something in common after all.

I read this post this morning, and bought Chex Mix at lunch. I didn’t make the connection, though, until I came back to the site just now. I feel like I’ve been violated.

Dried saliva chips didn’t do much for me, but when I scrapped off and smoked my son’s taste buds, I got kind of dizzy.

Leave Days Of Our Lives alone! You better hope John Black doesn’t hear you talking that smack!
They also had an obvious scene plugging Cheerios as well. I think it’s some sort of subliminal Dimera plot against Salem & The Brady Clan…

Next, she’ll be getting out of a limo in a short skirt, and we’ll see Frosted Flakes between her legs.

Miley will do OK. I think she has a head on her shoulders. Problem is a young celebrity gets a big head with all the suck-ups in Hollywood. It is easy to lose your way. Hope she learned her lesson about having friends videotape her. Hopefully, her family will get her back on track.

I thought all 18 year olds were like this.

Absolutely, Lizzie, I think that more parental influence is what she needs. Her mom, who just got dumped by her father, after she was caught blowing Brett Michaels from the 80’s band Poison, seems like a real solid role model.

I got my 12 year old daughter a bong and a box of Frosted Flakes for Christmas because of this post, and she was absolutely thrilled. Thank you.

If you fill your bong with milk, before smoking the Frosted Flakes, it’s supposed to be really smooth. The kids here in Ypsi call it, “getting frosted.”

I heard Michael Savage say last night that the Arizona gunman who killed six last weekend was a smoker of salvia.

Does anyone know if she hit one of our pot stores when she was in Ypsi this weekend?

I know you were kind of kidding, but you might be on to something. Frosted Flakes has paid for product placement before.

    Proof.
