I have absolutely nothing to talk about tonight… So, it’s your turn. Tell me something interesting. Actually, it doesn’t even have to be interesting. Just tell me anything.

Not to blog about Mel Gibson is to condone his actions. You should be ashamed.

The doll’s mouth is indeed creepy, and the Linda Blair head spinning shit sold me from the get-go. As I write this I’ve got a saved search for one on ebay, in case one comes up for auction.

That’s some pretty aggressive laughter. Imagine how different that commercial would feel if a little blood was involved.

Is my Facebook page appropriate for posting a pic of my bladder tumor? It’s amazing how much lighter I feel since it was successfully removed yesterday.

You know that if you woke up in the middle of the night, that doll would be hovering over your bed with a twisted look of malice on its plastic face. When you screamed in horror, it would laugh and laugh and laugh. And then it would eat your brains.

I can’t believe that the Child’s Play people didn’t make a sequel starring this doll. I’d go see it.

I was surprised there was no talk about the recent Devo show. It was pretty boss, as the kids say.

Word is Mark Mothersbaugh lost his wedding ring while here in Ann Arbor. He claims that it flew off of his finger while throwing tchotchkes at the audience. Make of that what you will.

Does anyone still Rick Roll, or is that meme dead? Or, has it moved on to developing countries and the like?

I want one of these. They’re like small, portable Segways, made by Honda. I think they’d help with my posture.

I would like to invite fellow markmaynard.com readers to attend my campaign kick-off event on Friday, July 23rd, 6-8pm, at VC Web Design. VC is located at 9 South Washington St, in downtown Ypsilanti. They were the first graduate of the SPARK East business incubator, and I hired them to design my website, http://www.palmer2010.com. Stay after the event for the Crossroads Music Festival, check out all the fun stuff at Bowerbird Mongo and MIX, and say hello to friends and neighbors in downtown Ypsilanti.

Have you heard of i-dosing? The new craze hitting the teen scene for kids looking to get high off of music?

The evolution of the Old Spice marketing campaign is a pretty genius way to utilize social media. Individual responses to people’s posts. Who doesn’t love the old spice guy?

Regarding the Water Street land south of River and Michigan Avenue, I noticed for the past few weeks they have been tearing down buildings and clearing the land. Is something confirmed for going in there, or are they just pushing around dirt?

Has anyone eaten at either “Ray’s Sqeeze Inn” or the Root Beer place on Michigan Ave? I always want to try some of those diner type places but never have the time or maybe the nerve. Which ones are good and which ones are totally gross. Now that smoking is illegal in those places I would like to try some.

Ray’s is fantastic! I strongly recommend the sliders & the onion rings.

I have not been to the rootbeer joint (yellow building) since getting food poisoning there in 2003, but it’s still open so I would guess either the fixed that problem, or people like that sort of thing.

@ASR: the city staff has been pursuing a variety of grants to tear down the buildings, remove foundations and re-mediate the brownfield.

No, nothing is being planned – or at least nothing at all has been presented in any way by are wondrous Waterstreet committee. Well, nothing beyond the Burger Kind fiasco.
