I’m working on the script for the June 18 episode of Dreamland Tonight right now, and it’s shaping up to be pretty good. In addition to the mayoral debate, we’ve got the incomparable Charlie Slick performing a few songs, and a couple of other surprises. It should be fun… So, if it’s not on your schedule yet, please add it. The show will start at 8:00 PM, at Ypsi’s Dreamland Theater.
Oh, and if you are coming, please bring something for our Community Show & Tell segment. It doesn’t have to be anything valuable. We’re not looking to turn this into the Antiques Roadshow. We just want to see cool, interesting things that people in the audience have held onto over the years for whatever reason.
And I don’t know if we’ll have them done in time for this Friday’s show, but our friends Ryan Groendyk and Melissa Dettloff have designed the show’s first official shirt, and we’re trying like hell to have them printed by the end of the week… Here’s a sneak preview:
[Tonight’s post was brought to you by the mysterious and bewildering Alvin Greene.]

Why is snow white and ice clear? Aren’t they just different forms of water?
I think at least one of the feral cats should have been shooting up. Can I request that change?
I’m struck by the fact that none of the animals are fucking. I applaud your restraint.
The bustline looks about right but the waist is way off.
And, what’s that behind Mark’s right hand?
Steaming crap and broken glass. It’s exactly as I’d have imagined it…
…honestly, I like your little stage set. Where’s the tiny armchair?
Yeah, I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but it would have been great if they’d included a dead fox with a needle in its arm, being made love to by a mangy rat. And I think the thing behind me is a giant, used puppet condom.
