Ready or not, it looks like another episode of Dreamland Tonight is going to tape tomorrow night, in Ypsilanti. Our guests will include local landlord and developer Stewart Beal, historian James Mann, and musician Annie Palmer. If the practice I just participate in is any indication, it’s going to be extremely loose, but I imagine you’ll get your $7 worth.

Would it be safe to call that an homage to Chevy Chase?
You mentioned earlier an idea about having an sitcom within the talk show. Have you made any progress with that?
I’m sure Beal has good stories about deadbeat tenants. You should ask him.
God- that is all Beal needs is another ego boost, and believe me, he will just see this puppet as another reason to think he is hot shit. I am sure Beal has good stories about how broke he is…you should ask him.
Puppets may be cool, but are they hot shit?
Will the Beal portion be called ‘The Finger Puppet Monologue”?
Maybe he wouldn’t have been so cash poor if didn’t buy up all those properties around town, as if he were racing to be the next Barnes & Barnes… Can’t help but think his cash flow crunch possibly hurt anything being done with the Thompson Block. Any bets that those ruins will linger through the summer? I see plenty of billable hours for local attorneys there.
