You might have to love The Wire to find this interesting, but I think it’s funny as hell.

They need to give this treatment to a scene in season 4 featuring Chris and Snoop out on the street killing people for Marlo Stansfield.
It’s even more upsetting to remove laugh tracks.

It hadn’t even occurred to me that you could make something so troubling just by removing a sound track. Thanks, Ted. That’s awesome.
Laugh tracks are the reason I hardly ever watch sitcoms anymore, except 30 Rock which doesn’t have or need one.
I never think about this stuff until I read it here. I’m not sure if that’s a compliment or an insult.
It would be great to get he cast of the Wire back together to shoot a Barney Miller-like sitcom.
