FOX News caught faking Bachmann rally footage

A week or so ago, reality-challenged Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann called on her tea-bagging minions to come to D.C. for “an emergency house call on Congress.” The idea was that there would be a rally at the Capital, and, after the rally, all the logic-impaired Bachmann followers would be set loose like wild dogs on their members of Congress, informing them about death panels, quoting Hitler, and telling them why their votes to provide healthcare for our citizens would be tantamount to treason. Most reliable news organizations reported that between 4,000 and 10,000 people actually showed up for what Bachmann touted as the Superbowl of Freedom. FOX News and the tea party contingent, however, have pegged it at closer to 45,000. And they’ve got persuasive video to prove it, too. Only problem is, it’s not video from the actual Bachmann rally. Here’s Jon Stewart with more:

Hanity confessed to it last night on his show. He explained it as a simple mistake.

Once again the sad reality is that this has to be pointed out on a satirical news show on a comedy channel.

You said it, Tommy. I too have a serious thing for hot crazy women, or maybe it is only the crazy ones I think I could get. Whatever. It’s nice feeling like there are some hot women who might be crazy enough to hook up with me. I’m talking about Hannity of course.

Who would you rather have adult relations with; Bachmann, Palin or Malkin?

And why do all their names end in “N”?

I think of myself less as a conqueror and more as a healer.
