VH1 is going to be airing a special this Thursday on the beloved American character actor Willie Aames. It’s going to be called “Broke and Famous,” and, according to reports in the press, it will focus on the period of Aames’s life after Charles in Charge, when he was penniless and living inside a Los Angeles hedge… No mention of whether or not this chronicle of hitting rock bottom will include mention of his turn as Bibleman.
And, yes, I did choose to post about this instead of about Representative Joe “You Lie” Wilson and how, earlier today, he blamed Obama for the shortage of H1N1 vaccine, neglecting to mention that he himself had voted against vaccine funding. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to say, “helmet of salvation… shoes of peace.”

I just wanted to make it clear that I’m not making fun of Aames for being homeless. I don’t find anything humorous about having to sleep outside, in the cold. I am, however, interested to know whether or not his time on the street overlapped with the period in which he was portraying Bibleman for Trinity Broadcasting.
Judging from that video, it looks like Bibleman physically takes on his adversaries, which seems odd to me, given that he’s you know Bibleman.
Nothing worse than getting your ass kicked by a shoe of peace
Any plans to have a Breastplate of Righteousness vendor at the Shadow Art Fair? I’d love to pick one up.
My favorite Bibleman episode:

I’m partial to Koranman’s Sandals of Vengeance .
One wonders if it was a shoe of peace that was thrown at Bush by that journalist in Iraq.
I thought Scientology had the religious sci-fi market cornered.
But does your Bibleman have one of these?
