“McKenzie baby you blew your mind”

This afternoon, when I heard that MacKenzie Phillips was preparing to drop some kind of bombshell about her her childhood on Oprah, I was reminded of an old song by Redd Kross called McKensie. Well, I’ve been looking around the house for my old copy of Neurotica for about an hour now, and it’s nowhere to be found… Anyway, here’s a little live video of Redd Kross performing the song Neurotica, off the album by the same name, which, if you stole from me, I would really like to have back.

Get that salami sandwich out of here!“, indeed.

Oh, assuming you really like what you see, you can also check out the McDonald brothers in the classic underground film Lovedolls Superstar, and alongside David Cassidy in the classic time-traveling stoner film The Spirit of ’76.

What bombshells can Phillips possibly have left? Don’t we know everything about her and her messed up life already?

My guess is that it’s incest, as we already know her dad introduced her to hard drugs.

The bombshell is that she was in a long-term, consensual, sexual relationship with her father, John Phillips.
