A delicious Fried Chicken special at Haab’s

coupon-sept09

Well, it’s been one year since we started sharing coupons here on the site, and how better to celebrate the anniversary than with a repeat of that first, historic coupon for Haab’s succulent, fried signature dish, Chicken in the Basket?

Those of you who haven’t yet had the pleasure of experiencing fried chicken at Haab’s, will find a nice review by our friend Ol’ East Cross here. He, as some of you might recall, referred to it as “the purest fried chicken” to be found in all of Washtenaw County. In fact, he went so far as to surmise that the good folks of Haab’s, “must sprinkle some extra chicken” on their chicken.

But don’t trust me and OEC – print out a copy of the coupon, steal a car, and point it toward Ypsi… Seriously, it’s good food, and the folks at Haab’s would love to see you.

Oh, and feel free to share the coupon with your friends and enemies alike… Everyone deserves to experience great friend chicken at least once.

I miss OEC a lot. He was my favorite three initial commenter. I hope everything is good with him. Would you tell him I said so and let him know he’s missed here.
    Yum! Fried chicken.

Mark was wrong to fire OEC, but it had to be done. He was becoming a threat, just like Teddy Glass and Tony Buttons before him. Maynard leaves a trail of carnage and broken men in his wake.

Maybe, if we pray really, really hard, OEC will come back for Fried Chicken Month.

No offense Mark but your little blog here really went into the toilet after OEC left. I can see why you might want to take it back a year.

Went for fried chicken yesterday with a few friends. Yum! Just an FYI…the coupon is limited to one per table.

Could it be one per table? That doesn’t make sense. People could just spread out to different tables. Maybe they meant, “one per coupon.” That would make more sense.

Nope. They said one per table. And we came prepared. We had more than one coupon with us.

What’s to stop people from going to individual tables, or getting their dinners to go? I don’t get it.

Didn’t I hear somewhere that there was someone in Ypsi who would deep fry anything for $1? I think it may have been Biggy’s.

Somebody send Glenn Beck over to Biggy’s. I have a buck around here somewhere…

The one coupon per table issue has been resolved. It is one coupon per person, not per table. I apologize for the mix-up. Dave

Mark, where is the new coupon? Just because I live under a rock doesn’t mean I don’t need to eat!
