Not to be disrespectful, some someone really should stake him through the heart, just to be sure.

That Paula–she’s so unpredictable. (Excellent post all around–nice colors, interesting rendering, in your portrait; every word ringing true. Obviously true because you nailed RN–eye roll especially.)

The triumph of imagination over maddening things. Thank you for demonstrating its playfulness and power.

That’s just brilliant, Mark. When someone I despise dies, I try not to gloat over it, because it just makes me feel a little smaller, y’know? But when I saw that Bob Novak had died, I felt something needed to be said about such a destructive, horrid person. You really nailed it.

I like the idea of sending elderly conservatives to “liberation chambers” where their organs can be harvested for illegal aliens. If that were in the Obamacare bill, I could really get behind it.

One criticism. You didn’t use the phrase “Prince of Darkness”.

He was no “Prince” of anything. He was just an evil dick.

When it’s your turn in front of the death panel, you had better hope that penmanship is not one of the evaluating criteria.

Laugh, hipster asshole. Laugh all the way to the liberation chamber.

I think it’s time to stop denying all the claims that are being made against Obama and his healthcare plan, and just embrace them. I think we should say that there will be rationing, and that some people will, unfortunately, be selected by the government for termination. I think we should commission Temple Grandin to design a real prototype facility for “patriot liberation.” And we should send elderly Republican cards saying that their death panels will be held shortly. I think Obama should start wearing a blood-covered lab coat when addressing us on television.

Passing though Chicago today, I saw the Rupert Murdock Chicago Sun Times with a photo of Novak, and just the words “THANK YOU BOB” (see for yourself, if you dare…. http://dekerivers.wordpress.com/2009/08/19/newspaper-front-page-chicago-sun-times-honors-robert-novak/).

No wonder legendary Chicago reporter Mike Royco left the Sun Times when Murdock bought it. As Mike said it best “No self-respecting fish would be wrapped in a Murdoch paper and that, His goal is not quality journalism. His goal is vast power for Rupert Murdoch, political power.”

And what is wrong with death panels? Years ago, they gave that sloppy drunk David Crosby a new set of innards, and what has he done since? They should have sent him waaay down the list and given the new inside duds to some kid.
By the way, my father (an old conservative) thinks Obama’s death squad is coming after him. He kept going on and on about how he hated Obama. I said, don’t hate Obama, hate the people who voted for him. Then, he went up to his quarters and cleaned all his guns. He left later that day with three concealed weapons on him saying he was going to “Confession”. He’s not Catholic. He watches a whole lot of Fox News.

Me, I meant to ask you a few days ago, but were you serious about your dad?

No, I just make it up as I go along. I haven’t seen my Father in a long time.
But God, didn’t it sound real?
