Another bathroom interview

A few days ago, I posted an interview here that I did in the bathroom of the Corner Brewery. I didn’t set out to conduct an interview in the men’s room. It just kind of happened. I was washing my hands and talking with my friend Ryan, when it occurred to me that I had my camera in my pocket, and that it shot short videos. Anyway, that’s how it started. And, now, after a day spent in the sun and a few glasses of wine, I’m thinking that it might not have been too bad of an idea. In fact, I haven’t mentioned it to the owners of the Brewery yet, but I’m thinking that I might like to host a talk show from their restroom. I figure all I’d need would be a few chairs, maybe a fern, and someone to hold the camera… Or maybe I’ll just sit it on the edge of the urinal, point it in our direction, and hope for the best… Anyway, look for more bathroom interviews in the future, assuming Linette or some other smart person doesn’t talk me out of it.

Here’s another idea… What if I interview the same person a number of times, but each interview is done in a different bathroom? I wonder how many public restrooms there are in Ypsi anyway…

OK, with all of this in mind, I have a second episode to share with you tonight. This one was also shot on the day of the Shadow Art Fair, and it features Forest Juziuk, who was supposed to be performing comedy in the beer garden with his friend Brian Hunter that evening, between the folk/noise mash-ups.

I should point out that I was reluctant to post this, and only decided to do so after Forest talked with Brian and got his OK… I don’t, as a rule, like inferring that friends’ relatives have died in Satanic rituals – at least not publicly.

Let’s start a whole new website where we make jokes about Brian’s loved ones on the occasions of their deaths.

If I was a guy and all of my relatives were dying, I’d probably start to suspect my friend with the handlebar mustache.

Were any of them tied to railroad tracks?
