My post a few minutes ago about Leonard Cohen reminded me that I’ve never posted footage here of Wally George, the father of actress Rebecca De Mornay, to whom Cohen was engaged for several years. So, here goes…
If, after that, you’re dying for more Wally George, check out this episode of his show, Hot Seat, where his guest is El Duce of the Mentors… As much as I detest the likes of Glen Beck and current crop of flag waving ultra conservative hate mongers, it’s nice to be reminded on occasion that things could be worse.

I think if Cohen acted as a father is not important whether it was an official spouse!
Did he come before Morton Downey Jr, or after? I can’t keep all my assholes straight.
El Duce, who died a few years ago, claimed to have been approached by Courtney Love to kill Kurt Cobain.
The scene in the clip where the cops wrestle Morton Downey Jr to the ground was apparently at the end of an intense yelling match during which both men accused the other of not being a true conservative.
Just for the record, the comment by “Robert” above was made by a different guy. It could have been though, ’cause it makes absolutely no sense.
hmm, my mind is blown
If only old Wally were alive today. He’d be so happy. Hell, he’d be in Congress.
