While being interviewed on WCBN radio this evening, I mentioned a delightful new restaurant here in the heart of historic downtown Ypsilanti called Beezy’s, and I encouraged people coming out from Ann Arbor for the Shadow Art Fair to give it a chance. Well, I forgot to mention it at the time – what with the discussion taking an unexpected turn after the interviewer used the phrase “ejaculations of artistry” – but it just so happens that we’ve got a coupon for Beezy’s that you’re welcome to use on Saturday.
The coupon has two parts. It’s for two-for-one breakfast items (between 7:00 and 9:00 AM), and a free espresso drink with the purchase of a salad or sandwich (between 2:00 and 5:00 PM). All you have to do is print this handy coupon, and take it in with you. As the Shadow Art Fair doesn’t start until noon, I imagine that the 2:00 to 5:00 piece will be of more interest to you out-of-towners, but, then again, maybe some of you are planning to get here early to get a good parking spot.
And I haven’t shared this with any of you yet, but, in addition to having my own booth with Linette, I’ll also be working a booth called “Hugs ‘n Gumbo” with my friends Melissa and Jennifer. I tempted to tell you more, but I’ll save it for a surprise.

Hugs ‘n Gumbo
not as good as
Guns ‘n Butter
I like that I am indirectly linked with ‘ejaulations of artistry’
may beezy’s and mark maynard live forever in infamy.
Let it be known that I hugged Mark Maynard.
And gave him the heebie jeebies.
Which I’m fairly certain is communicable.
