Occasionally I get a brilliant idea. Usually, however, my ideas are stupid. I can usually tell the difference, but in the case of my Ashley Todd Pumpkin I’m not that sure. Regardless, I plan to make one of these every Halloween from now on… I think it’s important that we as a culture remember the plight of white conservative women beset by sexually-ravenous imaginary liberals of color.

Ahaha! Are the pen marks something besides ignored guidelines, like a black eye or something?
No, the black marks were a contribution of Clementine. I asked her to draw a face on the pumpkin before I started carving. Her whole face was only about 2″ x 2″, though, so we worked together on the design you see. (I do like the idea of carving really, really small faces into pumpkins, though.) I added the backward ‘B’ afterward… You’re right about the black eye. That would have been a nice addition.
I like that she is sitting on the shit-er!
Nice!
Mark! Turn on the Fox News Channel! They’re reporting that your jack-o-lantern was brutally beaten and raped by a large black man wearing a “Yes We Can!” cardigan. They want an interview.
I know it’s not the same as a face carving, but a Palin supporter gave me a hickey that looks like Jesus.
I woke up this morning half thinking that my Ashley Todd pumpkin would be on CNN. I really thought that that it had the potential to be the next Joe the Plumber.
Can I have it when you’re done with it? I’d like to do something with it on video.
And by “do something with it” I mean “fuck”.
Sorry for being obtuse.
Does everyone know that there’s free coffee at Starbucks for voters today?
