[This image, taken yesterday, shows mavwreck Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who has been taking a lot of heat today for having spent $150,000 on clothes, hair and makeup, wearing a lovely new scarf. Unfortunately for Palin, as you’ll notice, the scarf has clearly got a “Vote Democrat” theme… My inner psychic tells me that somewhere there’s a salesclerk being slapped on the back and handed drinks at this very moment.]

And I know that there are probably elephants all over the other side of the damned scarf, but it’s still a funny photo.
And I just say gay as shorthand for Democrat.
This is the absolute funniest thing I’ve seen this entire campaign season.
Palin is dumber than anyone could ever imagine.
Palin’s wardrobe is a pretty typical example of the right’s tendency toward “fiscal conservativism”. Instead of putting money into programs to educate workers or take care of homeless kids, they put donated money and taxpayer cash into lavish lifestyles and expensive wardrobes.
These people are a fucking joke.
Now someone just needs to get McCain into an “Impeach Bush” tie.
The RNC will just spin this as a western theme. After all how much west can you get than alaska. I’m sure she rides horses too!
I hope this is real and not photoshopped.
No, you idiots, it’s Tina Fey!!!
Maybe she thought that they were bullet holes in the side of the donkey, not stars.
Hey, use gay all you want in this context! It’s (a) probably true and (b) a compliment!
This is a freaking genius post.
$150,000… and all she could find was that?
Mrs. Palin’s wardrobe budget is $26,000 more than the total value of “Joe The Plumber’s” home. So much for the Republican “message.”
I love that Michelle Obama boasts about getting a $30 dress at the Gap, and Barack high-fives her upon hearing about it. And he has those worn-out shoes, once re-soled.
McCain and Palin get crowds going with snide, sarcastic digs, and the crowds roar. Both their voices are much too grating and shrill (damaging to one’s viscera!). It could make you wanna cry.
But HOPE persists (thank goodness), evident every day.
Millions of us dreaming of a particular outcome, needing it. A federal worker in Detroit said this morning he’s leaving for Canada if . . . but won’t even allow the thought. I handed him an Obama button, and he gave me a great smile and said he was going to put it on and who cares if he’s at work. He said his young cousins are so set on voting–it’ll be their first election. One tiny sampling indicates a mighty shared dream (because add them up–there’s one after another after another, every day).
Hallelujah, yes we can–
I don’t think she’s allowed to dress herself. This is some kind of calculated move I do not understand.
Makes John Edward’s $400 haircut, from which the GOP make a real stink, seem cheap!
Go O!
I don’t think she’s ABLE to dress herself, thus the big budget…
You mean they sell those at Saks? Something tells me that the price just went way up!
ok, Mark, please tell us straight up: a real photo or photoshop? if real, where was it taken? It’s funny either way but is it real? thanks!
ok, i googled it and find it appears to be real. newsweek says she wore the scarf in Reno a few days ago.
