I’ve listened to it twice now and I haven’t been able to catch any mention of Sharia law. I might have to reconsider my vote.
this is a fantastic speech and makes me want to go knock on some doors for him.
but also his zebra tie is odd and distracting.
I hope you don’t mean “zebra” as a pejorative, as George Jefferson did when he called the children of Tom and Hellen Willis “zebras”.
Mr. “I’m not ready to debate” – let alone lead – is backpedalling out of the debate now…to deal with the crisis that he refused to admit existed until last week. unbelievable. McShame.
Barack’s reaction/comment was wonderful:
“It’s my belief that this is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person who, in approximately 40 days, will be responsible for dealing with this mess,” Obama said at a news conference in Clearwater, Fla. “It’s going to be part of the president’s job to deal with more than one thing at once.”
McCain’s rolling out a new plan. Instead of a chicken in every pot, he wants to give every American one of these.
No word yet as to how he plans to administer them.
