On the evening of May 13, if you eat at Frenchie’s between 5:00 and 9:00, 50% of your tab (food and drink) will be donated to the restoration of our beloved old Freighthouse. I’m not sure what my shift is going to be, but I’ll be guest bartending during some of it, so be sure to drop in, say hello, grab a beer and leave a generous tip. (100% of my tips will also be going to the Freighthouse.)
I’m not sure how it’s going to work, but there are also going to be both silent and a live auction that evening, with 100% of those proceeds going to Friends of the Freighthouse as well. If you have items that you would like to donate to the silent auction, leave a comment here, and I’m sure that Linda French, or someone else from the Sidetrack, will follow up with you… I’m thinking about donating a headless unicorn gift basket, but I don’t know if I could take it if no one bid on it.

You actually expect to get tips? I guess your level of customer service has improved in the decade-plus since you worked the Back Room at the Jug.
