This morning at the gym, I got lucky. Someone had left a new copy of “People” magazine, so I was able to get all caught up on the circumstances concerning the death of Heath Ledger while on the exercise bike. My favorite article in the magazine was about 70’s child star Willie Aames. Did you know that he fell while doing a live stage adaptation of his Christian video series Bibleman, and got hooked on prescription painkillers?

It is a small small world indeed. Corey Haim slipped and fell recently while performing his one man show, Dianeticsman, outside the Iowa State Fair.
Australian news went nuts when Heath died last week. It was the biggest story for days. I thought I could get away from seeing Police Chief Ray Kelly at a press conference (as I do several times a week in NYC), but no such luck.
If you write something about the experience, I’ll post it on the front page… I just really want to use the headline, “Vacation Ruined by Coverage of Actor’s Suicide.”
Well, I said nothing about my vacation being ruined. As usual, you read/hear what sounds good to you as opposed to what was actually written/said. More sad and predictable than an actor’s early death.
Sorry. I’m still just in a loop over the image of Mark at the gym, on an exercise bike reading People magazine. I keep checking to see if I’m on the right blog… I keep waiting for an endorsement of Schwarzenegger for president.
I ordered the video last week when this was posted, and I’ve now seen the episode shown here. Bibleman is the person on the left, with the long black hair. That’s Willie Ames. The person on the right is just a crazy person harassing Bibleman during a soccer game in a public park. He gets his head punched clean off his body a few frames after this. Bibleman is ruthless.
I am looking for contact information for Bible Man. I need him desperately to solve a case involving a missing earring.
