“i don’t believe in you either”

Linette and I make a good team. I have semi-formed, mostly-caustic ideas, and Linette makes them good, real, and, for the most part, sweet. A few days ago, I had an idea for a card depicting Santa saying, “I don’t believe in your either.” Linette thought about it for a while, scanned some of my drawings, and started playing around with the idea. A day or so later, she had two designs completed. On one, a bitter old St. Nick declares, “I don’t believe in your either.” And, on the other, a considerably more positive Santa offers an encouraging, “I believe in you too.” There was a third card too, but it didn’t feature Santa. It simply declared, “You make the holidays a little less depressing.” That one was all Linette.

The good news for you is that we’ve now got all three of them for sale in the Crimewave store. All you have to do is choose where you fall on the Mark-Linette negative–positive continuum and push a button. We’ll do the rest. If you act now, you might even receive them in time to get them to your loved ones by Christmas. Packs of 6, with envelopes, are just $10… They’re actually quite nice. Our first run sold out at the Shadow Art Fair in the first two hours.
