I am not sure what kind of fruit these are, but I do know that this is one of the most adorable pictures that I have seen in a while. Do the little fruit creatures in the front share the three eyes between them, co-op style, or are some of them cyclops solo?
Where the heck did you get rambutans? The crop was so big when I was in Thailand they were giving them away, but I haven’t seen them here. However, the ones I ate were apparently de-eyed, unlike these. Do they taste better this way?
It so totally sucks that Halloween is past. Where were cyclops rambutans and stinkhorns last week when I was desperate for ideas? You are sons of bitches!
Speaking of Halloween, we’re curious to know how Clementine’s cardinal/fish costume turned out.
Our Clementine opted out of a costume this year, refusing to don her giant grain of rice. Though she asked for it and gave it a big hug yesterday (I made it out of pillowcases and polyfil stuffing).

Here’s a hint, the fruit in the front of the bowl is in disguise.
Linette crafted the disguises herself.
Pummelo. I use Pummelo zest in my Gin.
Good choice for brunch. Grapefruity.
Yup. The one in the back is Pummelo. Right, Todd.
Now how about the fruit in the front?
And, I really need to try your Gin. I’ve been meaning to pick up a bottle for quite a while now.
Rambutans.

Organic strawberries, you know before they’re shaved for aesthetic value.

Huh. Well, at least I finally know why, after a few beers, Mark starts referring to his genitals as “Mister Stinkhorn and the rambutans.”
The ballshaving obsession is beginning to make a bit more sense…
