autoblog green covers the techknow forum

Our friends at AutoBlog Green have started rolling out their coverage of last night’s event in Ann Arbor on the future of the automotive industry.

update: Those of you who are interested can now catch streaming video of the entire event through UM, or listen to the audio, broken down by speaker, by way of AutoBlog Green. You can also read and/or listen to an interesting interview the AutoBlog Green team did with David Cole, the much-respected head of the Center for Automotive Research. My hope is to be able to pull a lot of these pieces together into a more comprehensive overview next week, but this should keep you plenty busy in the meantime.

I, too, am puzzled, ewgayunh, about what exactly David Cole DOES and how me has managed to appear so valuable to the world over the last 20 gas guzzling, union-busting, quality-sucking years at the (sc) Center for Automotive Research. He and John Dingell have managed to hang onto their jobs while a lot of us have been sucked out of the uterus of the industry and tossed in the medical waste bucket. It’s that sucking sound we were warned about a long time ago. Remember?
