project pedal is in the flux ipod film festival

Our friend Mike from Caliblog is working on a documentary film about a group of assorted strangers who decide, for whatever personal reasons, to drop out of their normal lives for several weeks and ride their bikes together across this great big country of ours. It’s called Project Pedal and it’s wildly ambitious. (If you’re interested in finding out more, you can see Mike interviewed about the project on a recent episode of the online show “Jetset”.) Mike, for those of you who don’t know, while he’s been planning the trip and raising the money necessary to pull it off, has been releasing short films about the process. Well, one of those films, it was just announced, the first episode of the Project Pedal series, is 1 of the 5 videos selected for the 2007 Flux iPod Film Festival, in the “Kitchen Sink” category (the category for everything that’s not a feature length or a short film). So now, it’s up to the voters and the judges. If you want to help, all you have to do is take one minute, register at the Flux site, and then watch episode one of Project Pedal. Then, if you like it, you leave a good rating. (If you don’t like it, you don’t have to leave a rating.) It’s that easy… Seriously, it’s good stuff and you’ll enjoy it… Best of luck to Mike, Amanda, and everyone else who’s contributed to the project thus far.
