I’m sorry to report that the new issue of “Crimewave” will not be done in time for tonight’s Shadow Art Fair (SAF). Hopefully, however, if we raise enough cash at the SAF to pay for the printing, it’ll be out at some point just after the big holiday season. (How’s that for good strategic planning?) So, if you’re looking for a good gift for that special someone come Muharram (January 6), we’ll have you covered.

Except Muharram begins on January 20 or 21 this year depending on your location and sightings of the moon.

What, no live blogging from the Art Fair?
Maybe next year you could setup some kind of ecommerce site for those of us too far away. Just walk around with a webcam and stop for a few minutes at each table.
I just recieved a financial report from the north pole, and would guess that if mark and linette’s profits at the SAF were similar to those of santa and his elf’s, then the next issue of crimewave will be handwritten on a piece of cardboard, and held by mark as he stands on an exit ramp of I-94, begging for change.
