shadow art fair applications are due on the 15th

I just wanted to remind any of you interested in participating in the upcoming December 2nd Shadow Art Fair as vendors that the deadline for submission is October 15. So, if you’re interested, fill out our online application form. Also, if you haven’t already, you can sign up to receive our email updates on the Shadow Art Fair home page. (Sign-up in the upper right hand corner.) We’ll be sending out periodic updates as we decide on vendors, book bands, etc.

And, yes, I did say “book bands.” I should probably keep it a secret until next week, when we’ll be issuing our press release, but this time out, with the approval of our friends at the Corner Brewery, we’ll be adding a second day, and live music. So, not only will we be open for business all day on Saturday, December 2nd, but we’ll also be there the night before, on December 1st. And that’s when we’ll have music, etc.

As for vendors, I believe that everyone who was there this summer will be back, with the exception of Tiffany Tomato, who recently packed up and headed off to New York in search of fame and fortune. (Best of luck, Tiffany.) In addition to those that participated the last time around, we’ll also be adding about ten new folks, selected from the applications submitted online. (Those chosen will be informed on October 31st.) Another cool thing we’ll be adding this time around is a formal poster design competition. More news on that should also be coming out next week. So, stay tuned.
