Over the past few months, Clementine has gotten into the habit of screaming “help” when she wants something, regardless of how small or insignificant. It isn’t so terribly bad around the house, but it has led to a few uncomfortably awkward moments in public places, where I’ve had to assure people that I am, in fact, her father. Linette, fortunately, is working on a solution. She is getting Clementine to say the following phrase when she wants us to give her a hand with something.
“May I have some assistance please?“
I wish I had it on tape. It’s painfully cute when she says it.
