    This is the kind of out-of-the-box thinking that I’d like to see more of. Cutting Pluto from the planetary line-up makes textbooks shorter and solar system displays smaller, and thus less expensive to produce and store. I say, while we’re at it, that we also cut slavery from American history and red from the color palate.

    Being demoted is not all bad. You have more free time and fewer responsibilities. I’m sure Pluto welcomes the chance to kick back a bit and enjoy life.

    Most importantly, now we only have to pay Pluto a fraction of what we used to… for doing the exact same job.
