“mister maynard’s dinner with a taint” coloring book

A reader by the name of Nina just sent these images in. Like Sandy yesterday, she wants me to make a comic book. Unlike Sandy, however, she doesn’t want it to be a comic that would help young OCDers with their debilitating illness (or, I guess I should say “special gift”). No, she’d rather that I stay focused on telling the harrowing stories of American taints. Specifically, she said that she’d like two product lines – a coloring book for little kids and simpletons, and a comic book for troubled teens and those just learning the English language… I don’t think she’d mind me sharing this, but she plans to use the comic as an outreach tool within the migrant-working Latino populations around Michigan. She seems to think that the story of the voiceless taints who came to dinner at my house the other night will resonate with them… The best part is that she tells me she’s got Wal-Mart and the GOP lined up as sponsors (assuming, of course, I can work in two appearances of George Bush clearing brush and a compassionate, Spanish-speaking Wal-Mart manager). I’ll be sure to let you know what I decide.
