a diabold insider speaks

It’s been reported on the Brad Blog site that a former employee at Diebold, Inc. has come forward to confirm not only that there were serious security flaws in the operating software running Diebold’s electronic voting machines during the 2004 election, but that the Bush administration knew about these flaws, and, if they’d wanted, could have exploited them to subvert the will of the people. (Thanks to Jim for the tip.) Here’s a clip:

In exclusive stunning admissions to The BRAD BLOG some 11 months after the 2004 Presidential Election, a “Diebold Insider” is now finally speaking out for the first time about the alarming security flaws within Diebold, Inc’s electronic voting systems, software and machinery. The source is acknowledging that the company’s “upper management” — as well as “top government officials” — were keenly aware of the “undocumented backdoor” in Diebold’s main “GEM Central Tabulator” software well prior to the 2004 election. A branch of the Federal Government even posted a security warning on the Internet…

I don’t know that this is really a bombshell, but it’s good to have the subject out in the open again… Whether or not the ’04 election was rigged, non-auditable electronic voting is bad for democracy and it needs to be stopped.

A lot of people didn’t vote for Ron Paul because of crazy people who type in all caps. Also a lot of people didn’t vote for him because they disagreed with his platform, especially old folks (who outvoted any other demographic) who were born and bred on believing US foreign/domestic interventionism is good and necessary. There was some vote fraud, including his name not even being on my sister’s ballot here in Ann Arbor. But vote fraud is not why he lost. Get over it, make a rational case for liberty without looking like a crazy person, knock off the blame stuff and make a positive change using whatever gifts God gave you. Be patient, accept reality, pursuade people gradually and rationally. Or don’t, it’s a free country.

Also his Presidential campaign HQ staff were piss poor strategists, didn’t send supplies in a timely manner, neglected morale-building communication with the grassroots (especially after losing NH so badly) until it was too late, and generally blew all our donations out their asses.

But of course, that was all the Bilderburgers’/CFR’s/Illuminati’s fault somehow, eh?

University of Michigan and Princeton hackers installed PAC-MAN on voting machines and they did it it without breaking the “tamper-evident” seals.

And just for the record, Mark, there really is no question the 2004 Ohio presidential election results were rigged. There is also no question that fact will continue to be burried enough to elude the average spoon-fed US citizen.
