we still have a free press… they’re free to choose prison

From Editor and Publisher magazine:

Plain Dealer Editor Doug Clifton says the Cleveland daily is not reporting two major investigative stories of “profound importance” because they are based on illegally leaked documents — and the paper fears the consequences faced now by jailed New York Times reporter Judith Miller…

I don’t know about you, but I was growing weary of the free press anyway, and look forward to more in-depth coverage of Laura Bush’s hairstyle, and the President’s manly brush-clearing work on the ranch.
