John…Pat Sajak? Now I know you can do better than that. Givent th eloquence of Sajak’s essay I am surprised that he walked away from a career in international diplomacy in favor of becoming a game show host.
Also, could someone please tell me where Novak gets a pass on all this? I keep looking for it but noone’s come up with it. I will take anything at this point. Pure fiction, as usual, will be accepted with extra points for humor.
Most things that I’ve read, Chris, suggest that Novak talked to the investigators. He wasn’t willing to hold out, or, like Judith Miller, go to jail. He squealed like a pig…
I’ve also heard, however, and I think I posted a link to it somewhere on the site in the past few days, that investigators may not believe his story. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out.
I’m going to go and try to find a Chuck Woolery essay on weapons of mass destruction now.

I am sorry that I missed the Novak information.
No joke, but isn’t Chuck Woolery dead?
I don’t think so… Are you maybe thinking of Gene Rayburn?
No, Chuck’s alive… I just checked… Interesting thing I discovered in the process though – he was on the New Zoo Review in 1972.
I thought it was a pretty insightful post, His blog is pretty interesting..
