kerry goes awol?

Rumor had it over the weekend that John Kerry was preparing to march into the Senate today waving a copy of the Downing Street Memo and demanding a full investigation. The folks at Aljazeera even went so far as to suggest that he’d be calling for the President’s impeachment. Unfortunately, Monday’s now come and gone, and I don’t see any evidence of him having done a damned thing… If something happened that I’m not aware of, let me know… Otherwise, I’ll just sit here and continue to be disappointed by the man I campaigned so hard for.

If you campaigned so hard for Kerry why are you quoting right wing sources?

Yeah, that occurred to me too… I couldn’t find anything from a more reliable source though, which does make me question the veracity of the rumor, but it still had the ring of truth to it, so I was holding out hope that maybe it was legit. Who knows though?

What??? aljazeera got something wrong? Just when you start to trust the “media” again… Someone should issue a fatwa against them.

I was wondering the same thing, and am surprised that no one else is holding Kerry accountable for his tough talk last week. What a letdown.

I just found a few references to people being upset with him today for having not followed through. I’ll try to post an update tonight.
