“do you believe president bush is doing the lord’s work?”

A few days ago, a reader by the name of Stella posted a link in the comments section urging us all to go to a site called Bush Fish dotcom. She didn’t give any details. She just said that it was too horrible to believe. Being a trusting soul, I followed the link and then proceeded to spend the next few hours reading up on used Australian farm equipment… It wasn’t until today that another reader, my professor friend, Jim, clued me in and pointed me toward Bush Fish dotorg. He thinks it’s satire, but I’m not so sure. Then again, I also spent most of last night looking for hidden political messages in photos of Australian wheat thrashers.

Can someone make a fish floating, belly-up, on the surface of a polluted lake?

I’d put that on my car.

It’s OK, Stella, just don’t let it happen again… Or, if you do send me on a wild goose chase again, at least make it something a little more interesting than rusty, old Ausie farm equipment.

Hey at least you’ll be all caught up on farm equipment for the commune stint……
