assholes and sea monsters

A professor of Biology at the University of Minnesota, Morris writes about the recent public attack on evolution (and science) taking place in Kansas, pointing out the irony that the whole thing is playing out above a geological formation known as the Niobrara Chalk, which is teaming with the bones of sea monsters, which, according to the Creationists being deposed, couldn’t be any older than 7,000 years old.

    Didn’t you read the part in the Bible where Noah ties the ark to the neck of a helpful sea serpent? It’s in the same chapter where the pterodactyl flys up with the olive branch.
