you post for a change

I had a lot that I wanted to say tonight, but my computer’s totally fucked, so I’m going upstairs to read… If it’s not too much to ask just this once, would you mind entertaining each other today? I’ll try to come back tomorrow.

Among other things I was going to write about last night was Harry Reid’s response to the Republican threat of employing the “nuclear option” to push through Bush’s far-right judicial nominees. I had a few concerns, but, on the whole, I thought that it was pretty brilliant.

Let’s hope they’re right at Kos:

“As posted earlier today, the latest WaPo poll shows this issue as being an absolute disaster for the GOP, on par with the Schiavo fiasco.

yeah. DeLay and Frist are doing a good job of hanging themselves- nuf said.

I was curious about the judges that are in question ( “what is all the fuss about anyway?” ) and found a nice collection of bios on the NOW site. The first two are associated with Bob Jones (univeristy), which alone should be a big red flag.

Yeah, Dave Morris, I read bios on the judges a while back and they’re all bloody scary as hell.

And I hope Frist and DeLay are hanging themselves…I just don’t have a lot of faith in this country after they voted that bonehead back into office.
