Believe it or not I totally forgot that you had this idea back then. It must have been kicking around in my subconscious since your post and then when Andy at Adverbloggin posted about Christians using the ribbons as surrogate “fish” (http://adverbloggin.blogspot.com/2005/03/something-fishy-is-going-on-here.html) it resurfaced. I’m glad you aren’t mad at me. For what it’s worth, so far I’ve made $1.50 from selling them. All three of them. I’m a regular tycoon now. Whooo! I’m considering evolving the sticker over time just for grins.
hey, with a little bit of work these could easily be ‘support the belle isle aquarium’ stickers as well! These don’t seem to be selling terribly well.
And yes, I’m going to hijack every thread from now on and steer it towards the aquarium. Kami doesn’t seem to be around anymore, Bea Arthur’s urinary habits got old, and I needed to find a new focus.
I was initially confused since the white sheen on the red section suggests a cross. Divine Intervention?

Will you consider making a car magnet that says, “Honk if you’re a moron”? (My part of the world is famous for inconsiderate drivers.) I’d definitely buy one of those.
Laura: In Andy’s post that I linked to he noted the subliminal cross in the flag section on the original ribbon. When I made my ribbon I decided to include it because, if evolution is correct, even those that believe in creationism evolved from somewhere.
ChelseaL: I might do that at some point. Check back once in a while.
