don’t think of an elephant

I believe that I’ve already emailed all of you who have expressed an interest in the past, but we’re gearing up for another meeting of the Ypsi-Arbor Progressive Book Club. This month’s book is George Lakoff’s “Don’t Think of an Elephant: Know Your Values and Frame the Debate–The Essential Guide for Progressives,” and we’ll be discussing it at the Eastern Michigan University library this Thursday evening, between 7:00 and 9:00 PM. If you’d like details, send me an email and I’ll get back in touch with you with a room number and parking information… And, if you are planning to attend, and if you have time, you might also want to download and read over the Frank Luntz playbook, which I’m sure we’ll also be discussing.
