have you heard, we’re getting a new state-run news agency!

If you’re like me and find Fox News just a little too “fair and balanced,” you’ll be happy to know that there’s finally an alternative – The Pentagon Channel! That’s right, no more worries about muckraking investigative journalists like Jeff Gannon putting their own spin on things. No more relying on the “news filter” of the liberal media elites. Now, it’s just each of us having a personal relationship with Rumy from the comfort of our own homes. No interpretation. No context. No questions. Just hard-hitting facts about our enemies around the world, their weapons of mass destruction, their vile hatred of liberty, and the courageous path that our dear leader has laid out for us to follow.

Well, this should make it high on the ‘Parent’s Television Council’ List, considering that it advocates violence on a scale few other shows have the audacity to endorse.

One hesitates to think of what the usual jokey newscaster banter will be like on the Pentagon Channel.

I like the reality show where they swap a US soldier with an Iraqi insurgent for week.

Actually, all kidding aside, have you heard about the English reality show where volunteers are held, and tortured, in a fake Guantanamo? I doubt it would ever be aired in the US, but perhaps we could start a letter-writing campaign.

maybe the pentagon station could pick that up in syndication, running it at night. I’d love to see what “Pentagon-after dark” would consist of.

I think citizens making programming suggestions is certainly in order, as this station will no doubt be funded with government dollars…

    …..AND THAT’S OUR MONEY!!!!!
