My wife was watching TV in the other room & said “Kenny Loggins On Ice” out loud then sorta giggled. I was on the Net so it kinda went in one ear & out the other & I sorta giggled to myself too, not really paying attention. She leaves the house, & I’m still brainwashed by the computer. SHIT! Hours later I see your post. What was I thinking! I start scrambling to see if its gonna play again. FUCK! Oh well, everything ends up on DVD right? RIGHT?! Damn.
I’m more a fan of “Eddie Rabbit on Ice.”
I actually watched this. In the beginning I kept flipping past it and saying “What the fuck?!? It’s ice skating with a band playing?” The whole thing was like a South Park episode especially when Brian Boitano started doing backflips to the tune of “Footloose”.
I also watched the season 4 premiere of The Surreal Life. It looks like a mix of the drunken, mentally unstable has-been’s and the angry, bitter never-was’s. I wonder what the alcohol budget is for that show? It must be in the thousands.
It’s probably not top-shelf stuff that that they’re drinking. My guess is that it’s a lot of grain alcohol.
I wasted an hour watching Surreal Life because VH1 kept showing the bit with the woman (some model) naked and I had no clue WTF was happening. Then it was like a freaking train wreck and I had to keep watching. I think Christopher Knight is going to be at his wit’s end by week two as he’s the one they all run to when there’s a problem. Poor Peter Brady!
