The $499 Mac is real. The Mac Mini was announced today, and it appears to be another big win for Steve Jobs and the folks at Apple. I’m probably not qualified to say this, but, from my perspective, this seems like an absolutely brilliant follow-up to the success of the i-pod. Check it out.

Quite Nice, but I already have an emac, and an ancient imac. I was hoping for some cheap laptop from them so I could look so very cool draggin my stuff around with me. But they have a good thing there, converts should start coming in on their knees now…..
