Someone sent me this link, and I wanted to thank him/her in the post, but I couldn’t remember who it was… I think it may have been Collin or Kez. Hopefully, whoever it was will forgive me.

“Terrorists may seek to down aircraft by shining powerful lasers into cockpits to blind pilots during landing approaches, U.S. officials warned in a bulletin distributed nationwide.”

You can’t make this shit up.

Prairie Muffins trump survival of the fittest. Darwin loses. The numbers just aren’t there to make it work.

what’s the deal with the single glove? If it was a white glove with sequins on it i might get some sort of cultural reference, but as it is it seems like the illustrator messed up when he was drawing the fingers and just decided “Ah, screw it, I’ll just have the kid wearing a black glove”.

I like artistic license on the commandment changing it to “Thou Shalt not murder”.

Cause everybody knows killin is fine as long as you’ve got a mandate.

I forgive you. I’m just glad you liked it enough to post it.

Brian: I would swear that I heard that at least a year ago, but I can’t find where.

Brett: Apparently one of the Columbine killers was wearing one black glove and a “Natural Selection” t-shirt. Still, if the artist was going to go to that much trouble he should have tossed on the trench coat.

Are you sure about the “Natural Selection” shirt, Collin? They state it like fact, and it seems like a pretty easy thing to check out… I guess it’s time to go and visit Snopes.

According tothis About.com history page, he was wearing one glove, and wearing the shirt. Who knows if it

A question: Do more people kill in the name of Darwin or in the name of God? Huh?

The important thing is that we all agree state-sponsored religion’s a good thing…

And I liked your point, Steve, about the artistic license taken with the “Thou shalt not kill” commandment, turning it into “Thou Shalt not murder”. While we’re at it, maybe we could also change “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor,” to “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor, unless they’re evil-doers, in which case evidence is just a formality anyway.”
