A few days after the election, Kerry supporters started posting photos of themselves on-line at a site called Sorry Everybody, where they held up signs saying things like, “We tried.” Quite a few of the signs are written in foreign languages. The intention was to remind everyone around the world that not everyone here supported the policies of the Bush administration. Well, it looks like a group of Bush supporters have now gotten their act together and launched a formal response. Their site is called We’re Not Sorry. I was going to analyze sets of photos taken from both, but I’ve got other stuff I want to write about tonight, so, instead, I’m just going to post a few examples of what you’ll see when you go to the pro-Bush site… Enjoy their hatred!
At the end, after all the photos of white “freedom-loving” men with firearms, is the photo I’m thinking of submitting to the site. It’s of Bob, the personification of evil in the David Lynch television show Twin Peaks. I thought that it was appropriate… Now I’m just wondering what to have him saying. I’m leaning toward something simple like, “I’m not sorry that I support a culture of life,” but if you can think of something better, let me know.

I don’t know what it is, but I can’t stop fantasizing about those three Bushies making love. That doesn’t make me gay, does it?
As for Bob, maybe he could be saying, “Bush brings out the best in me.” Or, “Stop whining about the ‘stolen election,’ and get a job, you lazy welfare mothers.” Or (since he’s crouching by a bed),
Bob says: “I have a vision for the future of America and it includes George Bush. Four More Terms! Four More Terms!”
As of 4:53 pm on 11/12, the werenotsorry.com site appears to be down. How terrible.
If the rest of the postings are like the ones above, they speak for themselves. Bush supporters are rabidly anti-human.
The rest of the photos are very much like the ones that I’ve posted. I’d say one third of them prominently feature guns. Whereas on the We
