I just spoke with the folks at Frenchie’s and it looks as though we can have the place on Wednesday night. So, if you’re free, and if you want to watch the final presidential debate with me, my friends, some other bloggers, assorted local Kerry volunteers, and a few random Bush-haters, just show up before the gavel falls at 9:00 and grab a seat (and a beer).
If you have a Washtenaw County-based blog, I’d appreciate it if you would copy this graphic and run it on your site as well. If you don’t have a blog, just tell your friends. I’d like to get a lot of people to show up, whether they’re from Ypsi or not. I think it’ll be fun, and I know a lot of us could use the motivation as we enter these final two weeks.
As with the last time I set one of these meat-space shindigs up, there won’t be much of an agenda. I might ask someone from MoveOn to bring us up to date on their local rollout of the Leave No Voter Behind campaign, and maybe a few of us who aren’t too afraid of public speaking can say a word or two about our individual efforts to get out the vote, but beyond that I don’t have a formal agenda in mind.
If you have any additional thoughts, leave a comment or drop me an email.

So, no one has ideas? I thought for sure that someone would suggest something, like a giant sympathy card that we can all sign and send to Bush/Cheney?
Update: I just talked with the folks at MoveOn and they’ll be sending one of their regional coordinatorst. I told her that she can have a few minutes at 8:30 to bring us up to speed on their Leave No Voter Behind initiative.
Once again, I’m trapped at work until 10:00, but I’ll swing by afterward to have a beer and hear people’s reactions.
Hey, are y’all going to play Bush Bingo? A co-worker just mentioned it to me. Looks fun.

Myself, I might prefer the “I-have-a-plan” drinking game, but that’s just personal taste. (Or lack thereof.)
Once again, I didn’t see you, Felix… and I was looking. Were you there?
