mm.com needs a reporter

The afternoon of Thursday, June 17, at 1:30 (EDT) Senators McCain (R-AZ) and Lieberman (D-CT) will be live, on-line hosting a national townhall meeting on global warming. I know that a recording of the session will be available after the fact at the Environmental Defense dotorg site, but I was thinking it would be cool to have someone volunteer to watch it as its happening and send in a short overview perhaps even posting it here in the comments section. I know its probably asking too much, but, if youd be willing to do this for the good of the MM.com community, I think wed all appreciate it. If youre interested, you can register to participate here.

For those of you who dont know, McCain and Lieberman are responsible for drafting the bipartisan Climate Stewardship Act (S. 139) to address global climate change, which, although being narrowly defeated in 03, will be coming before the US Senate again in the near future. It’s important stuff.
