Who knows where all this is headed, but apparently the guys from the band INXS have just signed a deal to star in a new reality series which will have them searching the world for the next Michael Hutchence to lead them back to stardom No word as to whether or not this one will have to steal a woman from Bob Geldof, but Im thinking that could be a nice competition in one episode. (The show is being Produced by Mark Survivor Burnett.)
My advice to all Michael Hutchence want-to-be’s is simple; “Don’t choke.”

It’s funny, because I’ve been thinking about trying to find McCartney a new songwriting partner myself. His writing is so much better when he has a partner. Lennon added a whole dimension to his stuff, and Linda seemed to inspire him to write great pop love songs. He should really consider crashing at Billy Joel’s place on Long Island for a while and I bet we’d get a phenomenal album out of it in a matter of a couple months.
