I narrowly escaped a prostate exam this afternoon and Id like to tell you all about it, but its getting close to 11:00 and I still have work that needs to get done Shit, I also want to tell you about the big police bust I saw and the deer I almost ran into while jogging Why is it that my life suddenly got exciting when I decided to blog less? Maybe I should coin a phrase for that or something… like “Maynard’s Law.”

I wish that I could take credit for outwitting my doctor, but the truth is he was running way behind on his appointments due to freeway traffic, so he gave me a year reprieve on the whole prostate thing The bad news is, he told me to count on it adding 15 minutes to our next visit. Im not sure what hes planning to do in there for 15 minutes… and I’ve got an entire year to worry about it.
