Dear Mr. and Mrs. Maynard,
I’d like to refer you to my letter from the new issue. My credentials are as follows: I left high school and began college at the age of 16. I have an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and will have a Bachelors in Liberal Arts witha concentration in creative writing this May at the age of 20. I expect to earn my Masters in Creative Writing in the next 2-4 years (depending on the length of the program I enter). I hope to begin my career as a college professor by the age of 24 and publish my first book around that same time. I might not have thought these things could be possible for me if it weren’t for people like Mark Maynard, whose magazine inspired me to make my first real attempt at writing and art in eighth grade. Thanks for having such a rad son.
